Water Tay, at 16 first forayed into the events world as a set-up crew with a Mobile Disco company. He then went on to become a DJ which saw him spinning at corporate events, clubs and pubs.

At 20, he was given his first taste of events management as an Events Executive whilst as an intern, where his role was to manage artistes, work with AV crew and execute corporate and sponsors’ events.

During NS, he auditioned for Power 98, and was the 2 out of more than 200 who got the job. His forte was in Sports and was the Producer for “Sports On”.

With his experience, Water found full-time employment as a Project Manager for a premier Incentive & Convention company, and has produced world-class events of more than US$1 million event budget in Vienna, Paris, London, Beijing Las Vegas, Honolulu, Gold Coast, Bali, Denver, Bangkok, Auckland, Perth, etc.

In 1995, he started hosting, and 4 years later, turned his passion into a Full-time career. He has hosted more than 1000 events for corporate clients, Government bodies, stat boards, non-profit organisations, etc.

His friendly style of engagement, down to earth persona and high energy, has made him a choiced MC for many organisers. He is known to deliver impactful,clean-fun entertainment without being offensive, risque or unintelligent.

Expanding his versatility, he is a Certified Trainer & Coach in-making specialising in Communications, Public Speaking, Soft Skills and Team Building.

Bridging his events experiences, he makes his sessions fun yet impactful. He hand-crafts his programs and leads the participants to greater clarity. A believer of Personal Leadership, he helps align teams to be more effective.

A responsible husband, and a guide & friend to two sons - Water values his family, friends and himself. An adventurer at heart, always seeking to satisfy his curiosity by visiting inspiring places and immersing in experiences. Very much like his journey so far.
